BGVB Bank Recruitment 2011 Selection Procedure

The Selection of the Candidates Shall be Made on the Basis of Written Test and Interview. All the Eligible Candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose BGVB Bank 2011 applications are received in time will be called for a Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank written test, which will be objective / descriptive (for specialized post) type comprising the following :

(1) BGVB Bank Officer Middle Management Scale III and Officer Middle Management Scale II – Post Code 01 and 02

* Marks will further be reduced to 70.

Note :

  • There will be penalty for wrong answers, for every wrong answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted.
  • Marks obtained in the BGVB Bank written test will be reckoned for merit ranking. Accordingly, candidates will be called for Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank interview based on merit. Depending upon the number of BGVB Bank 2011 vacancies only those candidates who will rank sufficiently high in the written test will be called for the interview in the ratio of 1 : 3 (three time of the number of vacancies). Mere eligibility/pass in the test shall not vest any right for being called for BGVB Bank interview.
  • Detailed information regarding the Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank written test will be given in the “Acquaint Yourself” booklet which will be sent to the candidates along with the BGVB Bank recruitment call letter for written examination.
  • The candidates securing minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC / ST ) in each paper of the Written Test will qualify for Interview.
  • Final selection will be on the basis of the ranking accorded after adding the marks obtained in the written test and interview.
