Here are some tips given to crack SAT exam Syllabus easily within first few attempts:

  1. Difficulty order should be known:

It is very important to know the difficulty order of the questions. One should always try to solve the easier and mediocre questions first and then the harder ones if time permits. If one starts solving the paper with the harder questions, there are two kinds of problems that might start arising. Firstly, the hard questions will be consuming all the time of the students and eventually he won’t be able to complete or even attempt the easier questions. Secondly, attempting the harder questions and not being able to solve them can make the students nervous and unconfident for solving the next questions. It is very important to solve the easy and medium questions first and get them right. This increases the student’s chance to crack SAT and is one of the very first yet important steps in getting one step closer to success.

  1. Process of elimination is important:

Many a times guess does works. If the student does not know the right answer to a question he can use the process of elimination. In this process one has to think of the options which definitely can’t be the answer to that question. In case of easy questions one can easily guess as the answer that seems correct is actually correct most of the times while in case of hard question, the answer that seems right is actually wrong most of the times. As each question has 5 options, eliminating one or two by elimination process increases one’s chance of cracking SAT exam. If the answer is correct one earns a whole point and if the answer is wrong one does not have much to lose as the negative marking is only ¼. Thus, guessing is not always bad as it increases one’s chance of success.

  1. Random guesses are a big no no!

This point might sound contradictory to the previous one but trust me it’s not! In the previous point you were advised to guess but only when you have some idea or knowledge about the question, you know the probable answers and can differ among the options that might be the answer or that definitely won’t be the answer. But if you are completely clueless about the topic and have no idea what the answer could be, it is not advisable to give answer based on a random guess. This can make you lose hard earned scores.
