Recruitment of 90 Specialist Officers 2013-14

Bank of Baroda – BOB, Baroda Corporate Centre, Mumbai has issued notification for the recruitment of 90 Specialist Officers vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through online from 28-01-2013 to 09-02-2013. For more details regarding age limit, educational qualification, how to apply and other information is mentioned below.

  1. Officer (Planning)-JMG/Scale I: 40 Posts

  2. Manager (Planning) – MMG/Scale II: 05 Posts

  3. Manager (Risk Management) – MMG/Scale II: 05 Posts

  4. Manager (Treasury) – MMG/Scale II: 10 Posts

  5. Manager (Security) – MMG/Scale II: 30 Posts

Age Limit:

Aspirants age limit is minimum 21 years and maximum 28 years for the post of Officer (Planning) and minimum 21 years and maximum 37 years for all the remaining posts as on 09-02-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification:

  1. Officer (Planning) :Candidates must possess PG (Economics/ Statistics)

  2. Manager (Planning) : Candidates must possess PG (Economics/ Statistics)

  3. Manager (Risk Management) : PG in Risk Mgmt./ Statistics/ Economics/ Financial Engg.

  4. Manager (Treasury) : Masters Degree in Finance/ Banking/ Treasury/ International

  5. Manager (Security) : Graduate Degree with minimum 5 years experience of commissioned service as an Officer not below the rank of Captain of Indian Army or equivalent rank in Indian Navy/ Air Force or an Officer not below the rank of Asst. SP/ Dy. SP/ Asst. Comdt./ Dy. Comdt. Of IndianPolice/ Para Military Forces with a minimum of 5 years service as an Officer in such force.

Pay Scale:

  • JMG/Scale I – Rs. 14500 x 600(7) - 18700 x 700(2) - 20100 x 800(7) - 25700.
    Emoluments : Rs. 27500/-

  • MMG/Scale II - Rs. 19400 x 700(1) -20100 x 800(10) – 28100.
    Emoluments : Rs. 36500/-

Application Fee:

  • for GEN/OBC/Ex-servicemen candidates : Rs. 500/-

  • for SC/ST/PWD candidates : Rs. 50/-

  • Candidates can pay the fee in Offline or online mode.

  • For online mode the payment can be made using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit Card by providing information as asked on the screen. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt would be generated.

  • For offline mode candidates can download the fee payment Challan from the website. Go to the nearest Bank of Baroda Branch with the Fee Payment Challan duly filled in and pay, in Cash the appropriate Application Fee in Account No 29040200000289 with Bandra Kurla Complex Branch, Mumbai, in favour of Bank of Baroda "Recruitment Of -90- Specialist Officers -Project 2013" from 28-01-2013 to 09-02-2013.

How to Apply:

  • Candidates are required to apply Online through website www.bankofbaroda.com . No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

  • Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID and Contact No. It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for written test, interview etc. through the registered email ID. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to/ or of any other person.

  • In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/ her new email ID before applying Online.

  • Applicants are first required to go to the Bank's website www.bankofbaroda.com and open the link 'Careers - Ongoing Recruitment Exercises'. Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification entitled Bank of Baroda 'RECRUITMENT OF -90- SPECIALIST OFFICERS - PROJECT 2013'

  • Candidates should then scan their photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature are within the required specifications. If the size of the file is more than the specified limit then adjust the settings of the scanner.

  • Candidates are now ready to apply Online by re-visiting the Recruitment Page of the Bank's website and going to the sublink titled "Online APPLICATION FOR BANK OF BARODA SPECIALIST OFFICERS' RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2013". Click on this sublink will open up the appropriate Online Application Format.

  • Carefully fill in the necessary details such as Fee Payment Challan etc., in the Online Application Form at the appropriate places and submit the same Online.

  • Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan/ online payment receipt will have to be produced, at the time of written test or interview, as the case may be.

  • Without counterfoil of the fee payment challan/ online payment receipt, the candidates will not be allowed to appear for Written Test/Interview. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep 3 photocopies of the fee payment challan/ online payment receipt for future use.

  • There is a provision to modify the submitted online application. Candidates are requested to make use of this facility to correct the details in online application, if any. This modification facility shall be available after 2 days of registration and upto 11-02-2013. After 11-02-2013, no modification will be permitted.

  • The name of the candidate or his/ her father/ husband etc should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/ mark sheets. Any change/ alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
