Job profile:

The security officer will be given the designation of an assistant general manager and would be required to manage and maintain the security systems in the bank such as alarm system, locker security etc. The security officer would also be responsible for ensuring that no disturbance occurs in the operations of the bank.

Eligibility:

A candidate must not exceed the age of 55 years as on 31st August 2009. However, relaxation can be claimed.

Education Qualifications:

A candidate must be a colonel or above in Army/Navy Air Force OR a police officer of the rank of DIG OR a security officer at the senior level management in a public sector bank with an experience of 2 years.

No. of posts:

There is only 1 post for the chief security officer in the senior management grade scale V.

Pay scale:

The pay scale for the officer will be Rs24140-26620 plus the allowances like DA, CCA, HRA and others as per the rules.

Selection process: The selection of a candidate is based on his/her performance in the interview.
