Job profile:

The officers will be working in the department of Information Technology. They will be required to manage and operate with various networks of the bank. They will also be required to work on the security systems, database systems etc.

Eligibility:

A candidate must not exceed the age of 35 years as on 1st July 2009. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications:

A candidate must be a B.E/B.TECH in IT or CSE or Electronics and Communications OR a candidate must be a post graduate in IT or CSE or Electronics and Communications or Mathematics or Statistics or Operations Research OR a candidate must be an MCA from a recognized university. A candidate must preferably have a professional qualification like CCNA, OCA and OCP etc. A candidate must have a minimum experience of 3 years for the IT Officer in MMG scale III and 2 years for scale II.

No. of posts: There are 105 posts for the IT Officers in MMG scale III and 25 posts for the officers in scale II.

Pay scale: The pay scale for an IT officer in MMG Scale III will be Rs. 18240-22280 and for an Officer in MMG Scale II it will be Rs. 13820-19920 plus other allowances.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for a written test which will be followed by an interview for the qualifying candidates.
