• Vidharbha Kshetriya Gramin Bank, sponsored by Central Bank of India, is established on 12/09/2005 as per GOI Notification No. F. No. 1 2)/2001/RRB dated 12/09/2005 amalgamating three RRBs working in Akola, Washim, Buldhana and Yavatmal district from 1983-84. The share proportion of this Bank is 50:15:35 from Govt. of India, Govt. of Maharashtra and Central Bank of India respectively.

• This Bank is 100% computerized, and is in the process of migration to CBS platform very soon.

• The bank has its corporate office at "Madhumalti Building", Gupte Road, Jatharpeth, Akola.

• This bank is extending rthe services in five districts of Vidharbha Viz. Akola, Washim, Buldhana, Yavatmal and Amravati districts through its 96 branches having Two regional offices at district Head Quarters of Buldhana and Yavatmal.
