You have to assume everything in the statement to be true and consider both the conclusions together, then decide which of the two given conclusions logically follows beyond a reasonable doubt from the information given in the statement.
1. Statement: Books are like friends which bring rich and lasting rewards.
Conclusions:
(I) You should choose your friends.
(II) Books give us eternal satisfaction.
