Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on written test and / or group discussion followed by interview.

Scale I : The applicants will have to appear for a written test followed by an interview.

Scale II : The applicants will have to appear for written test followed by interview.

However, Bank reserves the right to change the selection procedure at its discretion depending upon the number of applications received.

The Written Examination/Test for the posts , will be tentatively held on 31-07-2011 at the Examination Centres indicated below and the address of the venue will be advised in the Call Letters. The Call Letter along with the address of the Venue of the Examination Centre, will be sent to the eligible candidates by post at the correspondence address given by the candidate in the Application Form, well in advance of the date of written examination. A candidate who does not receive the Call Letter for Written Examination by 25-07-2011 should down load the call letter between 25-07-2011 & 30-07-2011 from Bank`s website. The Bank reserves right to call only the requisite number

of candidates for the Group discussion, interview after preliminary screening / short listing with reference to candidate‟s qualifications, suitability, experience etc after written test. (wherever applicable)

Fees :

Rs.50/- (as postal charges only for SC/ST/PWD candidates) and Rs.400/-per application (including Postal Charges) for other candidates. Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fees once paid will NOT be refunded on any count nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Eligible candidates have to apply online through the Bank‟s website only. No other means/ mode of application are acceptable. The application format should be filled in English only. Before registering their applications on the website candidates should possess the following :

  1. An e-mail id which shall be valid for the duration of the recruitment process. In case the candidate does not have a valid e-mail id, he/ she has to create a new email id. Candidates name, post code and date of birth should be written on the reverse of the counter foil.
  7. Candidates have to visit the Banks website www.bankofmaharashtra.in and follow the link.
  8. Without details of the payment of fees the system will not accept the Application.
  9. To apply, open the website www.bankofmaharashtra.in and Click on the appropriate link along side.
  10. After applying Online, take a print out of system generated on line Application form in A4 size paper, firmly paste your recent passport size photograph preferably taken by digital camera] affixing your signature at the appropriate space provided at the right hand top corner of the application form and again sign at the space provided at the bottom of the Application form.
