About:

The Bank operates in 15 districts of Western and Southern Orissa viz. Bolangir, Sonepur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Boudh, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada and Nabarangpur districts covering 50% of the total districts and 55% of the geographical area of the State. About 53% of the total population of this area, as per 2001 census, belong to Schedule Castes and Tribes and 85% of the population live in villages to whom the Bank serves.
