The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has cancelled the evening session of online common written examination for recruitment in clerical cadre in public sector banks which was held on December 15, 2012.

In a notification, IBPS said the exam was cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances” and asked all the candidates who took the exam to be prepared to take a re-exam to be held on December 29 or December 30, 2012.

All affected candidates will be communicated individually through e-mail and SMS as provided by the candidates in their application form about their venue, date and time of examination in due course.

The candidates are required to download their revised call letters from IBPS Web site, it added.
