Lok Sabha
Lok Sabha is composed of representatives of the people chosen by direct election on the basis of the adult suffrage. The maximum strength of the House envisaged by the Constitution is 552, which is made up by election of upto 530 members to represent the States, upto 20 members to represent the Union Territories and not more than two members of the Anglo-Indian Community to be nominated by the Hon'ble President, if, in his/her opinion, that community is not adequately represented in the House. The total elective membership is distributed among the States in such a way that the ratio between the number of seats allotted to each State and the population of the State is, so far as practicable, the same for all States.
Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens (including those belonging to reserved categories) for filling up 22 UR (General Category) vacancies for the post of Junior Clerk in Lok Sabha Secretariat.

Salary: Rs.5200-20200 (PB-1) + GRADE PAY: Rs.2400
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 27 years. For age relaxation to Physically Handicapped persons, Government employees, ex-Servicemen and employees of Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university and a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute. Preference will be given to persons having typing speed of 40 words per minute both in English and Hindi.
- Certificate in computer course recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)/Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) or courses equivalent to 'O' Level in terms of syllabus and duration of course as prescribed by DOEACC.
